So if you’re looking for the best footwear, here is a quick rundown of some of the best looking footwear I’ve come across. Keep in mind that a lot of this is going to be quite expensive as a lot of Italian footwear is really at the upper echelon of quality:
1. Salvatore Ferragamo "Pregiato" Slide Shoes
These are a beautiful pair of shoes that ooze casual sophistication. These slip-ons have leather slides on them, which is basically a buckle at the top of the shoe, where the buckle is towards the inside of the foot. This buckle by the way has the word “Ferragamo” engraved on it. Aside from that, you have slight heel on the shoe and tonal topstitching.
This is a great shoe which can be dressed up or dressed down due to the fact that it is a slip-on, it costs $520 for this over at Bloomingdales.
2. Salvatore Ferragamo 'Newland' Oxford
Here’s another classic look. This is a six-eyeleet balmoral that is made from fine leather and has a “cap toe”. This shoe is laced making it more formal and more suitable to be worn with a full suit, you wouldn’t be able to get away with jeans on this one.
Everyone needs a classic pair of laced dress shoes and this is one that will never go out of style. This one also costs $520 over at Nordstrom.
3. Giorgio Armani Vitello Slip-On Loafers
Here’s a great pair of slip-ons that can really be dressed up or down as these ones don’t even have a buckle on them. These are however made of fine leather which exudes class, sophistication and wealth as you can definitely tell it’s of a higher quality.
These have a padded insole, they’re subtly stitched and sell for $525 at Saks Fifth Avenue.
As you can see, all the above men’s Italian shoes are of impeccable quality with high price tags to show for it. The thing is, when buying men’s Italian shoes you get what you pay for, and if you want your footwear to get noticed and get compliments, then you should be willing to dish out top dollar for the best of the best!
